AUSTRALIA: The Time Travellers Guide

Eye Candy as recently finished producing CGI Australian Dinosaurs, VFX, graphics and titles for the new epic landmark ABC1 series ‘Australia: The Time Travellers Guide’. A road trip through the history of the Earth, as revealed by the life and landscape of Australia, the series is hosted and directed by renowned natural history film maker Dr Richard Smith, the world premiere goes to air Sunday 25th March at 7:30pm on ABC1.

In four glorious hours of high definition prime-time television, it showcases the deep, rich geological history of the Australian continent.

The series takes viewers on the ultimate Australian road trip, explaining how the continent came to be the way it is, the true story of why its mountains, minerals and deserts are where they are, and the incredible tales behind the plants and animals we share the landscape with. Viewers will discover that the story of Australia is the story of endless change: changing shape, life, climate and location. Seas that come and go, mountains that rise and fall and whole kingdoms of life that triumph then disappear.

Epic in scope, intimate in nature, this is the untold story of the land Down Under, the one island continent that has got it all, an exploration of the history of the planet as seen through the mind-altering window of the Australian continent.
