Eye Candy turned this funny 2D hippo comic character into a realistic 3D character that will be used as the seed to a feature length animated movie. Hairbutt the Hippo is a comic book series developed by Jason Paulos of Rat Race Comics and is the story of a nasty tempered and hygienically impaired hippopotamus who makes a living as a private detective feeding off the misfortunes and misadventures of hippies, magicians and mobsters. We created and rigged Hairbutt to look like he had just gotten off the beach and was taking a quick shower to wash the salt off, only to be surprised by one of the local crabs!
