For a second year a simple concept and character named ‘TOD’ has helped build awareness with a very hard-to-reach target audience. Encouraging school leavers, mature age and graduate students from across Australia to attend the Canberra Tertiary Open Day, which is a collaboration between Canberra’s five tertiary institutions (CIT, ADFA, ANU, UC and ACU).
TOD is a neutral, ageless and genderless character, designed to represent anyone interested in attending university. TOD has varied interests and is seen performing different activities and juggling items he might need. His activities communicate the key message ‘every thing you need in just one day’.
