Our clients come from all sectors of business, the arts and entertainment industries and might be retail, corporate, private or government organisations. They are tourist attractions, museums, utilities, retail outlets and service providers.

They are located in Canberra, throughout Australia and we have a developing list of international clients.

We have partnered with leading advertising agencies, production houses and national institutions.

Design and 3D are integral parts of the Eye Candy recipe and with a team of award-winning 2D and 3D artists who have the ability to mix and blend design, any production style can be created.

Our tools include Maya, Fusion, 3D Studio Max and Photoshop. Our custom-built job tracking and management system is so sophisticated we wish we could run our own lives with it.

Ian Johnson

Executive Producer


With over 20 years experience in Design, Animation and Visual Effect Ian Johnson has gained a reputation as one of the country’s leading managers of creative teams in the post production community. Most recently working for the Omnilab Media Group where he started managing mesh22 (a creative design boutique) in April 2001 before moving on to the position of General Manager of the Group’s largest division, the LaB Sydney, after just six months.

During his time at the LaB, Ian was involved in two acquisitions of leading competitors, the dramatic growth of the 3D department from 4 staff to upward of 35 staff, and the repositioning of the business from a traditional tape house into a Design, Animation and Visual Effects facility. When he left the LaB in May 2007 it was the region’s largest post production facility with over 130 full-time and semi-permanent staff.

Prior to working at the LaB, Ian was working as a visual effects supervisor for feature films, television series and television commercials. His early career included being a founding partner of Conja, one of Australia’s pioneering Design, Visual Effects and Animation boutique facilities.

With his industry experience and qualifications, Ian offers a greater support system to Eye Candy’s increasing number of interstate clientele. Based in Sydney, he is able to facilitate and develop projects. His representation interstate allows for better communication lines for clients, ensuring that the highest quality product is produced.

His favourite chocolates are coffee creams.

Damian Stocks

Creative Director / Partner


Founding partner and Creative Director Damian Stocks develops compelling concepts and brings them to life in the world of 3D. A strong creative thinker with the technical skills to back it up, Damian has headed up projects for WIN TV, Titanium Studios, Blue Haven Pools, Grapevine, Questacon, Kingston Foreshore, Telstra Shop, Old Parliament House, ActewAGL Energy Shop, ZOO Advertising, Finish Powerball, The House of Representatives and the Opening Ceremony of the Asian Games in Doha.

As former Lead Artist at veteran game development studio Microforte, Damian has worked on many complex games projects. In his spare time Damian enjoys playing guitar and spending time with his 5-year-old son and 1-year old daughter. His favourite chocolates are Lindt white truffles.

Rachael Johnson

Creative Director / Partner


Founding partner and Creative Director Rachael Johnson oversees all projects at Eye Candy from start to finish ensuring the visual consistency and integrity of the work. A ten year veteran of 3D, she was a Senior 3D Artist at Microforte working on a range of high profile titles.

Rachael holds a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design and a Certificate IV in 3D Animation from the Academy of Interactive Entertainment (AIE). Her strong visual style, passion for design and reputation in the industry led her to become a tutor at AIE. Also an award-winning children’s writer, Rachael says her drive and commitment to her work comes from her years as an ice skater, where she represented Australia. Her favourite chocolate is filled with ginger “But do I have to pick just one?”

Pawl Cubbin

Highly acclaimed art director, designer and business person Pawl Cubbin has been responsible for the development of some of Canberra’s most successful businesses, including high profile communications agency ZOO, Rex airlines and Academy Night Club. As a designer his achievements include the creation of many nationally recognised brands, including Regional Express Airlines, the Brumbies, TransACT, Masters Games, Floriade, Department of Family and Community Services, Verve Restaurant, Master Builders Australia and the Old Bus Depot Markets. His work has won many awards, including a prestigious Silver Award at the New York Advertising Festival and was also named Canberra Graphic Design Industry Individual of the Year in 2000.

As CEO of ZOO and CubbinCo, Pawl has been able to build his businesses by effectively analysing business processes and providing each company with the business tools and systems needed to deliver the best outcome for clients and owners. As a partner in Eye Candy he brings this experience on board, helping to deliver an uncompromised standard of service and creativity to our clients. His favourite chocolate is cherry ripe.

Cindy has worked, supported and developed Sydney’s creative industries for the past 20 years with a majority focus on the photographic sector.

In the last 10 years she singularly established and lead, I shot the Sheriff, one of Sydney’s hottest production agencies representing some of the best advertising photographers in the country.

A client base of top end advertising agencies provided I Shot The Sheriff the opportunity to achieve a worthy reputation for professional handling of creative work and large scale assignments.

This reputation, a well worn passport and a love for asian food became the foundation for building a strong working relationship beyond our boarders and into Asia.

Cindy says there are just too many chocolates to pick from to have a favourite….

Sandy Jubb

Operations Manager / Admin


A highly skilled administrator and manager, Sandy is responsible for the day-to-day running of Eye Candy and its projects ensuring a smooth production process and a great end product for our clients. She comes to us from Bermagui on the Far South Coast of NSW and has a long history of administration experience and advertising within the real estate industry which has given her the expertise and knowledge to develop and enhance her graphics skills while keeping office administration on track. She has 3 young-adult children and in her spare time loves to read, keep fit and go for long hikes with her very spoilt dog.

Her favourite chocolates are Lindt - dark.
