Our clients come from all sectors of business, the arts and entertainment industries and might be retail, corporate, private or government organisations. They are tourist attractions, museums, utilities, retail outlets and service providers.
They are located in Canberra, throughout Australia and we have a developing list of international clients.
We have partnered with leading advertising agencies and production houses including ZOO Advertising, Grey Worldwide, Cre8ive, The Couch, MA@D Communication, Images Online and Bearcage Productions.
Design and 3D are integral parts of the Eye Candy recipe and with a team of award-winning 2D and 3D artists who have the ability to mix and blend design, any production style can be created.
Our tools include Maya, Fusion, 3D Studio Max and Photoshop. Our custom-built job tracking and management system is so sophisticated we wish we could run our own lives with it.
We’ve assembled an award-winning team of professionals who love what they do. We work in an intimate, passionate and supportive environment with all the right gizmos to create amazing new treats that stimulate and communicate. These are our senior people.
Founding partner and Creative Director Rachael Johnson oversees all projects at Eye Candy from start to finish ensuring the visual consistency and integrity of the work. A ten year veteran of 3D, she was a Senior 3D Artist at Microforte working on a range of high profile titles.
Rachael holds a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design and a Certificate IV in 3D Animation from the Academy of Interactive Entertainment (AIE). Her strong visual style, passion for design and reputation in the industry led her to become a tutor at AIE. Also an award-winning children’s writer, Rachael says her drive and commitment to her work comes from her years as an ice skater, where she represented Australia. Her favourite chocolate is filled with ginger “But do I have to pick just one?”
Founding partner and Creative Director Damian Stocks develops compelling concepts and brings them to life in the world of 3D. A strong creative thinker with the technical skills to back it up, Damian has headed up projects for WIN TV, Titanium Studios, Blue Haven Pools, Grapevine, Questacon, Kingston Foreshore, Telstra Shop, Old Parliament House, ActewAGL Energy Shop, ZOO Advertising, Finish Powerball, The House of Representatives and the Opening Ceremony of the Asian Games in Doha.
As former Lead Artist at veteran game development studio Microforte, Damian has worked on many complex games projects. In his spare time Damian enjoys playing guitar and spending time with his 2-year-old son. His favourite chocolates are Lindt white truffles.
